Just in time for tea time!
This post is pretty image heavy because bakeries are just so damn picturesque and everything looks so delicious. Flour & Stone is definitely no exception - despite having most things sold out by late lunch.
Breakdown
Cost: $3.50 for the zucchini, gruyere and chili bun and $5 for a slice of the salted caramel and chocolate tart, take-away.

Value: Pretty good. The scone is a bit small, obviously, but it's filling because it's so bread-y. The salted caramel and chocolate tart is so rich that it helped fill me up.
Speed: Being a bakery... instantaneous.
Tip: Cakes sell out fast here. If you're looking for a whole cake (hey, it happens - colleague's birthdays, other office celebrations, last minute dinner plans and you promised to bring the cake, etc) call in the morning to reserve one. Same goes for their tarts - there weren't any by the time I came here at about 1.30pm for lunch. There's also sandwiches available, but I'm a sucker for baked goods. I've seen people have coffee and cake here which sounds like an enviable idea next time I have a free afternoon at work (ha!).
